Smartie Pants X3

Spencer was doing his homework today. On the page there was a sentence for the child to read. Above the sentence were instructions for the parents to best help their child with the assignment. I pointed to the box with the sentence and asked Spencer to read it. Without missing a beat he read the instructions without a mistake!

Henry wanted some ham as a snack today and kept calling it hamburger.
Henry: Mommy, I want hamburger.
Me: This isn't hamburger. It's just plain old ham."
Henry: "I want plain old ham."

Dallin discovered a mistake in the school's reading program. The mascot is a Knight and they had set up their reading program to help the children work their way up to knighthood. First you are a squire then a page then a knight....Wait a minute that's not right. So Dallin let the principal know that she needed to change it. He and mommy did a little research and wrote a little note to the principal to let her know that a boy becomes a page at 7 and squire at 14 and then if he is lucky he could become a knight at 21ish. The principal gave him a "shield of honor" for correcting her. He entered it into a drawing and won pizza with the principal at lunch today.

And what an appropriate story for Dallin's title on the sidebar, "Mr. Curiosity!"
