Christmas at Home

We really enjoyed having Christmas in our own home this year. Matt's parents were able to join us and we had a wonderful time celebrating with them. We learned of Matt's mom's family tradition of putting a pie plate under the tree instead a stocking for Santa to fill. We filled a pie plate for Kemp and Janet this year. The boys filled each others stockings and were both thrilled to see their brother open it the next morning. We all had a merry Christmas. The boys got Narnia actions figures. They were so excited and play with them all the time. My parents gave our family a Wii and we have had a lot of fun with that as well. We got ourselves the Wii fit and I've lost 4 lbs so far. It was a very fun Christmas.
The boys loved reading the story of Christ's Birth. We had a great book that Janet gave us with the words from the scriptures and paintings by Joseph Brickey of the the whole nativity story and loved sharing that with our boys many times a day during the Christmas season.
