Spencer's Testimony

Today we had our fast and testimony meeting. Dallin and Spencer really wanted to bear their testimonies. I was a little worried that they might just be doing it because it looked fun to talk in the microphone but they assured me that was not the case.  Spencer went up first (all by himself) and said, " I would like to bear my testimony. I know that Jesus died... and that he was resurrected. I know that Jesus loves me." and then he closed.  It was so sweet and straight forward. I was so proud of him for being able to say what he knows about the Savior instead of us having to tell him what to say.  During the rest of the meeting many people made reference to his testimony. One brother got up and said he hoped his boys would be able to bear their testimonies like that someday.  He especially hoped that they could be like Spencer and say the word "resurrected" when they are 3. It was a sweet experience for me to watch both my boys. It's nice to see that they are paying attention even when they do flips and head stands while I try to teach them the gospel.

spencer did such a good job up there! he's much braver than i was at age 3. i was very impressed with him doing it all by himself.

That reminds me of Dallin telling us the story of David & Goliath. Your boys have definitely been taught well to remember those truths so well!

Great kids come from great parents! What a sweet story, Julie. It is nice to know that someone's kids are listening even when they are doing flips during FHE!!!

So sweet! What amazing little boys you have! We'll have to let the kids bear their testimonies on a tape for Jonny because Emmy is really into that right now.
