So the Ultrasound was quite the experience. Our daughter is either very modest or a big tease because we almost didn't get a chance to find out her gender. She was curled up in a little ball and her feet were in the way. The ultrasound tech was trying to bounce my tummy to get her to move a little but she was having her post-lunchtime nap and was not cooperating with us. The tech teased the boys and said well lets get a good look at the face and see if we can tell from that. Dallin knew that wouldn't work but we looked anyway. Our funny little girl put both hands over her face as we tried to look at her! It was hilarious. Henry thought she was playing peek-a-boo. Then as we were wondering if we would have to wait til the baby's birth to find out the gender Dallin said, "It's a girl" and the ultrasound tech said, "It is a girl." She finally got a good shot of her and we were able to see that she is in fact a girl. I was crying and Matt was crying and we are still just glowing with the news. My mom was here for the the ultrasound and took me shopping to find something pink for our little girl. We found the most adorable dress for her and I love imagining our daughter in it. The ultrasound tech gave us the whole ultrasound on DVD so I've been able to go back a check and make sure this isn't just a dream. The picture is sideways (not sure why) but hopefully you can see her little hands covering her face.

It's a girl! We are so excited to announce to the world that we are having a girl is September. I am still in shock and so happy to add a little girl to our wonderful family of boys. She will be very well protected!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You'll LOVE having a baby girl. Please invite me to your baby shower in a few months. I love spoiling babies... especially girls. Enjoy shopping!
I have cried with each one. It was special to have Andy there with Mallory because he was unable to be at the ultrasound for Anneke and Luke and we didn't find out Marcus's gender. I am so excited for you. She is cute and doesn't look scary like some ultrasound pictures.
Yea!!
I can't wait to heat her name :)
congrats!
Yay! Congratulations on your new addition in September:)
