Dallin stories

Dallin just discovered that he has a cowlick that makes the back of his hair stick up. We were at my cousin's house when he noticed it and he started to try to make it lay down. we told him he has always had it. This morning as we were getting ready for school. He asked me to help him fix it. Then he added, "It got all messed up at Lynnette's."

We drove past the Logan temple tonight and Dallin said that when he sees the temple He feels like Enoch, His body feels like it's becoming a celestial body. Then he started talking about how he wants to do baptisms for the dead with he is 12. He wants to do a family name. We made the goal to find a family name for him to be baptized for by the time he is 12 and can go to the temple. He started to try to think of people who need to be baptized. Maybe Uncle Craig? (he passed away when he was 6) nope he doesn't need it, Grandpa Buck? no.....How about King Noah in the Book of Mormon "Can we be baptized for someone who was wicked?" He finally asked.

Tonight as he was supposed to be asleep in bed:
Dallin: Mom when we are in Heaven and we have spirit children and make our own world will I have to be all alone?
Me: No Dallin, we can be together
Dallin: will it be something we do all together?
Me: I don't know but we will still be able to see each other.

Plenty of deep thinking for that boy! He certainly know a lot about the gospel, and I'm glad he has parents who can answer his questions.

Not only is Dallin a deep thinker, but he is able to express his thoughts so well. I'm amazed at his insights.

Marcus has a cowlick in the front and Anneke has one in the front and one on the opposite side in the back. My boy doesn't mind his. Anneke doesn't know the stress of trying to do her hair yet.

We sure do miss Dallin.

The things that your kids come up with? What are you feeding them, cause I've got to get some for Annabelle? They are so smart.

P.S. I certainly hope that we're not all making spirit children together! ;)

Abigail is also very very aware of any hair that sticking up. I have to put leave in conditioner in her hair every morning to keep any hairs from sticking up during the day.

Dallin is such a sweet sweet boy. I sure hope Abigail and him keep in touch. I'd love for you to be Abigail's mother in law :)
